Alice

Alice was beginning to be very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversation in it, 'and what is the use of a book,' thought Alice 'without pictures or conversation?'

Viimeisen viikon ajan maailma on tuntunut olevan niin epäjärjestyksessä, että tänä iltana ajattelin lukea Lewis Carrollin Liisa Ihmemaassa -kirjaa, uutta ihanaa lahjaa hyvältä haltijakummilta.

During this week, the world has seemed to be so strange that I thought it would be better to read tonight Alice in Wonderland with lovely illustrations by Joe McLaren. A lovely gift from the fairy godmother.
